Many of us feel unworthy of God’s love when all along He longs to be gracious and loving to us. It’s His love for you and me that empowers us to live the abundant life promised to us by Jesus. Come and be refreshed by the experience of the Father’s love by attending the Father’s Love Refresher led by Pastor Rob and Shirley Strouse on Saturday, August 26 from 9AM to 12 noon. If you have any questions, contact Pastor Rob.
A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos. Plus, there’s usually food… food you didn’t make! But more important, you’ll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.
Who can come?
We’ve all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open.
For the kids:
The MOPPETS program is a preschool-style experience your kiddos will love.
The best way to get involved with our MOPS group is to use the form. Let us know you’re interested in trying out our group. Be sure to double check your email address before submitting the form to make sure our response gets back to you!
In order to love others, we first need to experience God’s love for us. Often, we want God’s love, but for many, we have a hard time really believing God could really love us.
The Father’s Love Conference, led by Pastor Rob and Shirley Strouse, will give you an opportunity to learn about His love and then experience it during times of ministry and prayer. You’ll learn about encountering His love day-to-day, allowing God to empower every area of your walk with Him.
WHEN: Friday, March 24 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. WHERE: Good Shepherd Church CHILDCARE: Childcare is available with an RSVP. SIGN UP: Please let us know you’re coming. Sign up HERE.

Make 2017 the Year You Take Control of Your Money!
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
FPU classes meet for around an hour and a half each week for nine weeks. You’ll learn to take control of your money, invest for the future, and give like never before. Don’t worry! You won’t be asked to share any personal financial information during the class.
Anyone age 15 and up.
Launches on Sunday, February 12, from 10:45-12:15 p.m..
$100 per person or household. $25 deposit requested.
(Includes one kit for the 9-week class.)
Help families in need this winter with baskets that are full of food and basic necessities. Grab a grocery bag and a list of items needed at GSC from January 8-January 19. You can also check out the shopping list below. Get the whole family involved and go shopping for a few items or the whole list. Then, on Sunday, January 22, leave your filled bag (or bags) by your car bumper. We’ll pick them up during service, get them sorted out into full baskets, and then distribute them to families.
