I have enjoyed the struggle. It seems so odd to say it that way, but any other statement would not be the truth. It has been a struggle. To stuggle for Christ is gain and He has strengthened me the whole way. Not that i was always content or even enjoyable to my family every moment, but Jesus spoke to me through it And my relationship with Him was strengthened as a result. My family got to see me make a stand for God and take my place as the spiritual head of our house and that was awesome. I am honored to have been a part of that. I am proud to be a part of this church, Not just the Good shepard church, but the Church of the Living God!

Feeling unfocused and ready to quit today. Thanks for the reminder that our part is to be obedient, as I believe this fast IS what God called me to. I need to re-focus! And truely the victory IS HIS! Bless you, Pastor Kent, for giving me the words I needed to hear.

Pastor Kent-thanks for the encouraging reminder of God’s desire for us. As I was praying this morning, the firm realization that we have a choice to do this and that each day gives us a chance to make a greater impact on our community and those around us; it also showed me how blessed we are. There are families all over the world that don’t have the daily blessing of clean water or even a meal to fill them. We are so blessed with abundance-its a great reminder that we should be thankful for what we have and the choices we get to make.

Its funny how quickly the enemy’s attacks come! I woke up super hungry and really sick @ 12:30 pm on tuesday morning. I fwlt fine the day before. No sign of sickness at all. I am still hanging in with the fast despite the attack! Nice try satan, but my God is bigger than your wiles!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I only decided to do this fast last sunday, don’t know how this will look, but I’m trusting God to show me each day, each moment. The victories He will accomplish may or may not be seen by me, but I trust that He will honor my obedience. I look forward to tomorrows entry.

Pastor, thank you for your encouragement this week. I look forward to your posts and it is such a blessing to know and believe that God is working in the hearts of all of the members of our church body just as he is working in my heart. I definitely feel connected to the group and your blogging is a big part of that. I am praying specifically for your victories as I am seeing God for victory in my life.
